During this week, you will walk around the base of the mountain, view it from different angles, and encounter stunning natural highlights. You'll experience adventurous and spectacular gorge crossings, where water rushes through narrow, towering rock walls, leaving a lasting impression. Enjoy idyllic alpine pastures and take your time to savor a traditional Bavarian Brotzeit. Itinerary:
Day 1. Arrival
Arrival in Garmisch/surroundings. The famous olympic town Garmisch-Partenkirchen beckons you to explore: discover the beautiful pedestrian zone, the traditionally painted houses and cozy beergardens.
Day 2.Garmisch – Mittenwald/Klais,„Partnachklamm“
Wild and idyllic, the day begins with a walk through the Partnach Gorge, where the waters from the Wetterstein massif converge. Continue over gentle hills and alpine pastures to Klais or Mittenwald. B/-/-

Day 3. Mittenwald/Klais - Leutasch „Leutasch valley“
Precise stone masonry has carved the route through the gorge into steep rock walls. Bold wooden footbridges span up to 40 meters above the water. Enjoy the contrasting walk along the Leutascher Ache into the valley. Passing hamlets and flower-filled meadows, with the backdrop of the Wetterstein massif, you walk into the broadening Leutasch Valley. B/-/-

Day 4. Ruhetag oder Rundwanderung
You have the choice: either relax or take a walk to the lakes in and around Seefeld. Alternatively, you can go on an excursion to one of the Seefeld summits, either on foot or by cable car. Return to Leutasch by coach. B/-/-

Day 5. Leutasch - Ehrwald „Nature paradise Gaistal“
Take a short bus ride into the Gaistal Valley. In summer, the valley is enjoyed by Haflinger horses, brown and grey cattle, as well as Scottish Galloways. Walk along the Ganghofer Trail into the picturesque landscape and up to the Ehrwalder Alm (alpine pasture). This is where Bavarian author Ludwig Ganghofer once sought retreat. Take the cable car down into the valley and continue to Ehrwald. B/-/-

Day 6. Ehrwald – Garmisch
Step by step, you walk up to the foothills of the Zugspitze and the famous Eibsee scenic viewpoint. The tour ends on the shores of the beautiful Lake Eibsee, offering a full view of the magnificent Zugspitze-Garmisch panorama. Take the Zugspitze train back to Garmisch. B/-/-
